Weekend Getaway

My family and I took a spur of the moment weekend trip to the beautiful countryside of Serbia. Vrnjacka Banja is one of the most famous spa's in Serbia that originated 2,000 years ago. It's known for it's natural underwater springs and healthy air. Many people come to drink these healing waters and enjoy the beautiful botanical gardens with the mountain Goc in the background.

I wore my silk tropical shirt to match the vibrant colors of the small village. My favorite part is roaming the pijaca (farmer's market) and indulge myself in the fresh peaches and wild blueberries. I have to say with just two days spent here, I feel more relaxed and happy.

Sunset Boulevard

As I mentioned before I traveled back to my home town Belgrade. I'm always hit with a wash of nostalgia when I walk through the streets remembering my toddler days running and playing lozinke (hiding-nd-go-seek) with the other kids. All the apartments are covered with dirt and graffiti and yet the sceneary gives me a sort of comfort and joy unlike Boston. I love it here!

No better way strolling through my old hometown than with my Brandy Melville knit crop top and my Urban Outiffiters floral skirt. This is perfect for those summer breezy days and beautiful sunsets. I wore a minimal amount of accessories; a long triangle necklace with a few bangles and my rose gold Fossil watch, and of course my favorite cambridge satchel.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer

Sports Luxe

I'm wearing an oversized Obey shirt from the mens section, (anyone else love shopping in the men's sections of the store? It's just so comfy) a pair of Asos black skinny jeans, and my new Nike roshe runs. For jewelry I'm wearing a gold chain from H&M and my grandfathers old black and gold watch.  A nice casual, minimalistic outfit.

Sportswear as fashion has been evolving the past few years into a mayor trend! It's known for it's sleek lines and minimalistic tones. Sneakers aren't just for jogging anymore, now they serve as a perfect finish for any sports vibe outfit. You know when something is in when Karl Lagerfeld sends a bride down the isle in a Chanel dress and beautiful sneakers.

Carry-On Essentials

Necessities.

1.Orbit Gum  2.Vera Bradley Wallet  3.Passport  4.Camera Case  5.Iphone Charger
 6.Longchamp (Le Pliage) Tote

When I go on long flights these are things I just can't go without. The Longchamp tote is perfect because it can fit all my essentials, but it's also a very cute bag. I go nowhere without an iPhone charger because I don't want my phone to die in case of emergencies! A no brainer is my passport and wallet; I can't get out of the country without these. And GUM!! The only thing that can help when the plane is painfully descending and popping my ears.

Entertainment.

1.Books and Magazines  2.iPhone and Headphones  3.Canon  4.Notebook and Highlighters/Pens

On long flights I always need entertainment to pass by the long 8 hour flights. Books and magazines are perfect to catch up on new fashion trends and learn some cool stuff. I can NEVER fall asleep on flights so my iPhone is perfect to listen to music or play some games. A notebook is great to just doodle and chill out. And finally my camera lets me be in that cozy nostalgic mood and look at pics I took before of nature and friends.

Comfort.

1.Comfy/Oversized Sweater  2.Fuzzy Socks

Comfort. Comfort. Comfort. So important for long flights. I like packing a cozy big sweater and some nice fuzzy socks to keep me warm.

Beauty.

1.Allergy Medication 2.Tylenol  3.Carmex Chapstick 4.Deodorant  5.Tissues  6.Small Lotion  7.Braces Elastics  8.Clinique Clutch (to keep everything in)

And finally my beauty products! During the late summer/early fall season my allergies are the worst so I can go nowhere without my allergy medicine. I usually get headaches on flights so tylenol is a must for me. Also on flights the dry air makes my skin/lips really dry so it's nice to have lotion and chap stick close by. No one wants to smell bad so deodorant is a no brainer. Does anyone else hate when people sniffle for like hours on end??? I always bring tissues to either stop my own sniffles or help my fellow passenger and give them a nice tissue! Braces, I hate them, but my orthodontist  always says "WEAR YOUR ELASTICS" so thus I never go anywhere without my hand dandy elastics. And finally my little clutch is to put all thess products in a nice and organized place.

I wish everyone happy travels! I can't wait to go to Serbia and see my family!
Bon Voyage

A White Night

You can't go wrong with an all white outfit. I wore my Topshop blazer with my American Apparel crop and shorts. I added a statement necklace from forever 21 and my favorite brown bag. I love adding accents of gold and brown to an all white outfit! To finish everything off I added my lovely Steve Madden sandals.

Peep the gigantic knee brace!!!! Who says you can't look good while wearing a knee brace?? Well I had ACL knee surgery a couple of weeks ago and so now I'm gonna be stuck with a brace for at least four months... fun !? But that doesn't mean the fashion and style has to stop! :)
